Seat pad Our new self-adhesive foam seat pad, designed by our team, manufactured in the UK, and available exclusively through Kirton. Made from non-absorbent closed cell foam, topped with a comfortable black Lycra and backed with a self adhesive layer, it's practical and easy to install. Simply clean the seat, peel off the backing and stick in place. It's a great option for regular suffers of numb or cold or bum, and is a huge departure from the tatty old camping mat most paddlers use. Designed to fit all current Kirton platforms and 2-pin seats, the ergonomic contours allow the seat to flex to the shape of the seat without distorting. The precut holes can be left in place for a cover-all pad, or removed for a more sculpted shape. The thickness is 10mm.

Fitting tip

Gently tease the foam into place with the backing still on to find the perfect position. Remove the protective foam from the front of the seat and work from the front-middle of the seat to the back and out, revealing more of the sticky layer as you go. If you're not sure if you want the bum holes or not, remove them at the start and stick the pad down without them. You can always put them back in later on if you're not comfy.
