We use high-quality 1.5mm Stainless steel Rudder wire with our race kayak steering systems. Even so, with wear and exposure to salt water it may corrode over time or become kinked. We sell by the meter so you can buy just the amount you need if your wire is looking tired and needs replacing. Note that standard lengths are crimped/folded to mark the centre.
